I absolutely LOVE Nancy Pelosi. If you have been living under a rock or just don't pay attention to the news or what's going on in our country she is the new and FIRST female speaker of the house! She is bright, bold and liberal. I am looking forward to seeing how she will help shape our future.

While we're on the topic Barak Obama is also incredible, he is potentially going to run on the Democratic ticket for 2008 either against or alongside Clinton. A lot of people are rooting for him to run and he is certainly someone to keep an eye on. I'm pretty sure as my peers your are relatively complacent about voting and this disheartens me considering you live in a country where this right is given to you. It is my hope (well for those that actually read my blog) that I can influence you to become a little more politically conscious, a little more proactive (while preserving your sexy) and a little better informed. If you don't read the paper every day and please don't watch the god awful local news at least you can turn to my blog for information. I promise I won't be objective but I will provide facts.
